Greetings from District 86!
As we begin a new
semester and a new calendar year, we look forward to the
opportunities, challenges, and successes that lie ahead. This
past semester was busy with academic, artistic, athletic, and
musical events and accomplishments. Our lives are enriched by
the students we serve and we are reminded that they are why we
are here.
As the
District positions itself for the future, we are pleased to
report that the Strategic Planning Process we announced last
semester is making great progress. We now have an
Administrative Organizational Study Executive Summary, which
will guide us during the Implementation Phase over the next two
years as we structurally reposition ourselves so that we can
administer and operate the District functions as effectively and
efficiently as possible. In addition, over the next few weeks,
surveys are being distributed to our District constituents and
we look forward to the information that will be gleaned from
those survey results. Soon, a date for the Community Forum will
be announced; we look forward to meeting with community members
who wish to provide input into the future of District 86.
