 Hinsdale Central High School

The school is 17 miles west of Chicago and serves a suburban residential area of approximately 35,000 people. Students live in Hinsdale, Clarendon Hills, Oak Brook, and portions of Burr Ridge, Willowbrook, and Westmont. The parents are predominantly professional, executive, or managerial people.

Central is the older and larger of two four year senior high schools in District 86. Enrollment at Central is approximately 2700 students with about 600 seniors. Over 98% of Central's students complete high school with 86% pursuing a four year college education, 12% continuing at two year colleges and 2% entering other opportunities. Central is a member of the North Central Association, The College Board and NACAC/IACAC.

The school is located in a primarily middle and upper middle class residential suburban area, approximately 20 miles southwest of Chicago in DuPage County, with some professional, business, and light industrial enterprises. Hinsdale South serves residents of Burr Ridge, Darien, Willowbrook and adjacent areas.

Hinsdale South High School is one of two 4-year comprehensive high schools in Hinsdale School District 86. 
Enrollment at South is approximately 1,900 students with about 460 seniors. Over 98% of South's students complete high school with 67% pursuing a four year college education, 29% continuing at two year colleges and the remainder entering other opportunities. Hinsdale South is a member of the North Central Association, the College Board, and both NACAC and IACAC.
