Some of this information you may already know, and some of it might be a different way about thinking about the web. For example, did you know that Google could be used to create your own custom map to share with the world? Well, it can. This is your resource to see how to do some of those things.

Google Maps: Google maps can be used for directions, but it can also be used for many other things. Did you know that you can collaborate on a map with many other people to create a plan for a vacation including all the routes you will need? You can also use it to keep track of running routes for training for your next marathon. Watch this video to see how Google Maps can work for you. Advanced Google Features: Yes Google can help you find things on the internet by typing in a querry in their search bar. But, did you know that Google can do a whole lot more than that? Google was all sorts of useful tools built into their website. On the right side of the page just click the "more search tools" button to see what there is. Also, read about some of the other great features here to see what Google has to say.
Google Blogger: Google Blogger is a great tool to share what you are thinking. It is a way to open up lines of communication between people. You can create your own blog, follow other people's blogs, and comment on things that you find interesting. Blogging is one of the many new forms of communication that is becoming more prominent. Google Docs: Google Docs is a free, online solution to buying a software suite to help with word processing, spread sheets, and presentation. All documents are stored online by your google email address. You can share documents by inviting others to view them and to edit them with you. Google Docs is an excellent collaborative tool.
