GRADING
Your grade in this class is based on the
five following categories of equal weight:
20%:
quizzes A quiz is 5
questions given at the beginning of each class.
20%: homework Twenty problems are assigned each
Tuesday and Thursday.
20%:
tests
There will be 2-3 tests each quarter. Prepare well for tests.
20%: daily pay Please see
the bottom of a quiz for explanation of points for daily pay.
20%: computer Computer
activities may be reworked and resubmitted until correct.
The grading scale is as follows: A: 90%-100%, B: 80%-89%, C: 70%-79%, D: 60%-69%, F: 0%-59%

ABSENCES
ASSIGNMENTS - It is your responsibility
to make up missed work. Please use the beginning of class to show make-up
work. Make-up work / tests etc. count as a zero until completed. It
is your responsibility to arrange for extra help if necessary.
TESTS - If you are absent the day before the test, you will be expected to take
the test. If you are absent the day a test is given, make arrangements to
make-up the test promptly.
