Short Bio: Carrie Nelson grew up in Lyons, Illinois where she attended Morton H. S.  She continued her education at Elmhurst College where she participated in Swimming and Softball.  Carrie has earned a Master’s Degree from National Louis University.  She started her teaching career in 1990 and has been teaching at Hinsdale South H. S. since 2002.  Currently, she teaches Early Bird PE, Upper Level Physical Education, Driver Education, along with Aquatics.  She is the head coach for the Varsity Girls Softball Team and serves as an Assistant Athletic Director.
