Creative Cooking 1
This course is designed to teach basic food preparation with state of the art equipment. This course includes the following areas of study: fondue, stir frying, microwave cooking, fruits and vegetables, breads, main dishes, vegetarian cooking, desserts and a creative meal using the computer. While this course provides personal enrichment, it may also serve as a foundation for further training in food service. Suggested follow-up courses: Creative Cooking 2 and/or Chef and Restaurant. Lab fee $25.00
Prerequisite: None. Open to grades 9, 10, 11 & 12.
