GK-12 Experience

GK-12 is an NSF funded program with the aim of creating collaboration teams of science, math and engineering graduate students and high school teachers in those fields. Smitha Sriram, a graduate student in Computer Science from UIUC is my GK-12 fellow. She and I have attempted to help precalculus students use technology to explore topics, to visualize concepts, and strengthen their overall skills. For instance, we used University of Illinois' Inquiry page to post a worksheet that helps students to think of the two important issues while choosing the domain of a function.

My hobbies

In my spare time, I like to go cycling and play soccer.
