The Pituitary gland is the primary gland affected.  The amino acid mutations lead to the Hypothalamus gland producing at a reduced rate.  The purposes of each gland are lessened by the conditions of Kallmann Syndrome, and, thus, pubescent symptoms occur.

Kallmann Syndrome occurs as a result diseased X-Chromosomes.  It is a sex-linked recessive disease.

Kallmann Syndrome is an extremely rare disease.  Above, possible pedigrees for the inheritance of the disease in one's family are demonstrated.
