Consumer Economics 

Economics is important in today's society.  You will learn about things that you will use your entire life.  Some of these topics include money management, consumer rights and responsibilities, credit, shopping, and insurance.  Just as important as being a smart consumer is being an informed consumer.

This class provides information about how our economic system works and how it affects you as a worker, consumer, and citizen.  Hopefully, you can then comprehend how national and international events affect you personally, make proper decisions for your life, and have a say in national decisions through voting and representing others.  Your personal decisions will even have an effect on businesses and governments.  It is hoped that you will learn consumer skills and gain an understanding and appreciation of our monetary system.
