The Hinsdale Fyzx League (HFL) began operation in 2003 as the Advanced Placement Fyzx League (APFL), and its name and logo underwent an update in 2006.
The HFL is a competition of calculus-based physics problems with a head-to-head playing schedule. Being on the AP Physics C roster is enough to qualify as a member of the HFL.
The league championship is the FyzBowl, and it occurs each spring in late April or early May, shortly before AP weeks begin. Dr. Snake is the self-appointed "commish" of the league and all inquiries should be directed to him.
