General Topics for the Course

First Quarter = Motion, Force, Circles.

Second Quarter = Energy and Rotation.

Third quarter = electrostatics, DC circuits, and magnetism.

Fourth quarter = waves and sound, the nature of light and color, and geometric optics.

General Things to find here

"Old Edition Assignments" is a section currently out of date because of the book edition change, but will be updated shortly (I hope). Each syllabus has a bunch of HW problems and this would be a single place to list all of them in one place.

The "Book Answers" section has answers to the main Homework sets from the textbook. These are more equation-driven and mathematical in nature.

"Think About" questions are the verbal questions in the back of the chapter. Very few numbers here, but more ideas and explanation. Good for study groups who want to get together and chat about physics!

"Packet Stuff" has answers to some of the questions and materials that appear in the packets. Answers to the EXPRESS puzzles can be found here.
