Graduation Requirements Class
of 2006 To
graduate, a student must earn
a minimum of
23.0 credits and successfully
meet the listed requirements. * Classes
of 2007, 2008 & 2009 To
graduate, a student must earn
a minimum of 24.0 credits
and successfully meet the listed requirements. *
Class of 2007, 2008 & 2009 Students
must earn 2.0 Elective Arts
credits. Elective Arts combines
Fine Arts (except for
Drama) and
Applied Arts offerings.
Only one credit per department
will be counted. Note
1: The
same course may not
be used to satisfy requirements for
Fine Arts, Applied Art, and Consumer
Education. Note
2: No
student shall receive a certificate
of graduation without
passing a satisfactory examination
on patriotism and
principles of representative government,
proper use of the
flag, methods of voting and the Pledge of
Allegiance. Moreover,
each student must take
the Examination
in order to receive
a regular high school diploma
unless the student is exempt under state law. The Building
Principal is responsible for
notifying students and
their parent(s)/ guardian(s)
of the District’s graduation
