Public Notices

Public notices are formal disclosures of district actions, meetings, and proceedings relating to matters such as, but not limited to, public hearings, budgets, bids, property, and educational matters, as required under Illinois law and/or for general notification.

District 86 publishes applicable notices below to promote transparency and give stakeholders the opportunity to stay informed about district plans, attend public meetings and hearings, and provide input on proposed rules or actions. Certain notices may also appear in a newspaper of general circulation as required by law.
