Seal of Biliteracy
Fall testing for the Seal of Biliteracy for the Class of 2026 is our fall district testing day, Oct. 9, 2025 at both campuses. Please use the following link to access the Seal of Biliteracy Testing Registration Form. *Please note that Thurs., Oct. 9 is a non-attendance day for all seniors unless they are testing for the Seal of Biliteracy, but bus service is available as other grades are testing that day.
What languages are available for testing on the above dates?
Arabic, Chinese (Mandarin), French, German, Hebrew, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Latin, Polish, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish.
What if the language I speak is not listed above?
Any seniors who speak any languages at home other than those listed above will be contacted later in the year by the World Language Department Chairs to arrange for alternative testing. (Central-Jay Lawrence and South-Sarah Lombard).
What if I've already taken the AP exam for my language?
Students who earn a 4 or 5 on their world language AP exam in Spring of 2023 automatically qualify for the Seal if they have at least a 480 on the SAT EBRW for English and therefore do not need to take the Saturday Seal of Biliteracy exam.
Please read below about the Seal of Biliteracy program as well as access preparation information in the linked handout.
