NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD - Hinsdale Township High School District 86

NOTICE is hereby given that the meeting of the School Board of Hinsdale Township High School District 86 will be held on Thursday May 28th, 2026, at 6:00 PM at Hinsdale Central High School, 5500 S. Grant Hinsdale, IL 60521.

The agenda for said meeting will include the following: The Board of Education for Hinsdale Township High School District 86 will hold a School Board meeting on May 28th, 2026. Public notice for this meeting and the meeting agenda is published and posted separately, as required by Board policy. The following additional notice is provided, pursuant to IL Statute 105 ILCS 5-19B, which requires at least ten (10) days notice of a meeting at which a local government unit intends to consider and, if appropriate, accept a bid to negotiate an energy savings performance contract. The information contained in this notice shall be reprinted as part of the regular Board meeting notice and agenda for the May 28th, 2026, meeting, upon issuance.

In accordance with IL Statute 105 ILCS 5-19B, the Board of Education for Hinsdale Township High School District 86 hereby gives public notice that it intends to consider and/or approve a bid for an energy savings performance contract for the evaluation and recommendation of energy conservation and facility improvement measures, and for the implementation of those measures to reduce operating costs for the District. Therefore, the Board shall consider awarding and/or shall, subject to finalization of contract terms, approve a final dollar amount for an energy performance contract that includes the following energy conservation and facility improvement measures: Solar Arrays.

At the meeting, the Board of Education shall review the final submitted proposal and scope of work by Honeywell and may award the performance contract, based on the scope of work procured via the Sourcewell Competitive Cooperative Purchasing in compliance with IL Government Cooperative Purchasing Act - 30 ILCS 525.
