Starting Salaries and Benefits for Teachers

The starting salaries for teachers for the 2023-24 school year are:

First year with BA: $61,901
First year with MA: $69,785

Rate Classification

Regular Teacher Substitution:

$25/per class (1-4 classes)
$150/day (5 classes or more)

Regular Paraprofessional or Clerical Substitute:

$18.50/period (@7 full periods = $129.50)

Long Term Teacher Substitution Rates

2024-25 (after 15 consecutive days in the same assignment):

BA Step 1 = $336.42/Day or MA Step 1 = $379.27/Day
