This page collects links to major reports and/or data sets the district has produced since July 2024. While all of these are available in D86 Community, we organize them here to make it easier for the community to access them.

 

SAT

2023-24 was the last year that the SAT suite was designated by ISBE as the annual accountability test for high schools. This report describes our performance on the SAT in spring 2024.

Advanced Placement

AP test scores are reported to the school district by the College Board. It’s important to know that these scores are not provided all at once, but rather on a rolling basis. Ongoing Updates: The College Board continues to add scores for students as they become available. This means that the overall totals may change over time as new results are received. Score Removal Requests: Students also have the option to request that the College Board remove a score from their record. If this occurs, the removed score will no longer appear in the district’s reports. Because of these updates and possible changes, AP score data should be considered a “dynamic dataset” that can shift after initial reports are published. The district works to align and reconcile these updates to ensure that reporting remains as accurate and consistent as possible.

Illinois Report Card

Each year, ISBE updates the Illinois Report Card with data about each school and district in the state. Use the following link to view D86’s report card. Each year, school code requires school board’s to present their annual report cards at a regular school board meeting.

Community Engagement Report and Superintendent Profile

In 2023, in preparation for the search for a new Superintendent of District 86, the School Board requested that School Exec Connect consultants conduct a community engagement process that would document reflections and insights from District students, staff, and community stakeholders. Representative focus groups and an online survey allowed any stakeholder in the District to contribute on a voluntary basis.
